If you love to experience early 20th century architecture and learn what home-life may have been like at the turn-of-the-century for some of Pasadena’s most influential residents, come explore four estates now some of Pasadena’s finest institutions with artpass - Estates. See rare examples of finely restored craftsman, Beaux-arts and Chinese style architecture and while your there take in the art and gardens! Not part of artpass but another great estate to see is the Tournament House, former home of the Wrigley family. Free tours of the home are available on Thursdays during part (check their website for updated schedules) of the year or explore the gardens anytime.

Mingei East and West is drawn largely from the museum’s collection and includes pre-modern Japanese objects; modern Japanese works in the mingei style; 20th century Japanese inspired Arts and Crafts objects from Southern California, as well as new works by local American artists inspired by mingei.

Pasadena Museum of History - Fenyes Mansion Tours Print at Home Tickets Available!

Thanks to an extraordinary family legacy, the splendid Mansion on Pasadena's famed "Millionaire's Row," once home to Museum benefactors Dr. Adalbert and Eva Fenyes, is today the crown jewel among the Pasadena Museum of History's many treasures. One hour docent-guided tours allow visitors to explore the antique furnishings, oriental carpets, wood paneling and floors, curving staircases and California impressionist paintings in the 1906 Beaux Arts Mansion as well as the Finnish artifacts and sauna in the Finnish Folk Art Museum.

Tours are available Wednesday through Friday at 1:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 1:30 and 3:00 pm. In August & September, Fenyes Mansion tours are only available by 7-day advance reservation at 10:00 am Thursday and Friday or at 1:30 pm Saturday and Sunday.
